Advertisements are a sign of their times. Looking at them brings us into a different time and space.
Inspired by her parents' wedding photo taken near Great World in 1970s, Great World, Great Times is the artist's excursion to the glorious past of the place, yet still connected to the present.
Each photograph is based on an old advertisement, but re-enacted with present day participants who are choral singers, sports wrestlers, an opera performer and a film curator. Viewers are invited to accompany them on this evocative rumination of what the past used to be and what the future might hold.
